2021.09.22 11:58 mareesek 2016 used Citroën Berlingo from operating leasing with 105k km for 11800 €. Is the price reasonable?

Hello everybody.
Basically what the title says. I found an offer from a leasing company selling used Berlingo from 2016 from an operating leasing.
It is 1.6 l BlueHDi 100 XTR with 73 kW engine, 5 gear manual transmission and quite usual equipment. What I like about this car is it has the automatic AC, which doesn't seem so common in this price range.
The offer is here: https://www.firemniauta.cz/cz/vypis-vozu/citroen-berlingo-1-6-bluehdi-100-xto3992.html (it's in Czech but Google Translator could help 🙂)
So do you think it is a good offer?

2021.09.22 11:57 geomeunbyul What habits or mindsets in Korean management have you noticed that you don’t like?

I don’t want this post to be hating on Korean culture or anything, because I do love my job and Korea as a whole, but I do hope I can understand some things that I’ve noticed about Korean work culture, management styles in particular. I think in general I’m a very open minded and understanding person, but it’s sometimes hard for me to tell what is a cultural difference and what is just plain bad management. I suspect I’ve encountered a mix of the two. At first I thought these things were just the way they my previous school operated but I’ve seen them again at my new workplace too, and I know it’s not just me experiencing these things because many other foreign coworkers I’ve talked to notice them too. Here are some of the peculiarities of Korean management that I’ve noticed.
1.) Not explaining the reasons behind things and getting annoyed when asked.
I suspect that this one has a lot to do with the top-down management style in Korea. If the manager makes a decision, they don’t feel the need to explain the reason for it. In the times I’ve encountered this, I’ve seen that it just causes a lot more trouble to confront the manager about it instead of accepting the decision without question, even if it seems like it doesn’t make sense.
2.) Last minute significant changes
I’ve seen this one a lot, and it’s one of the cultural differences that I have the hardest time understanding and accepting. It’s not just me, because I’ve seen many people encounter this issue in Korea. HR or management will let you know of a schedule or duty change at the very last minute and won’t seem to understand why this is bad, since it gives the worker no chance to prepare. This might be a useful management strategy in a way because it sort of “traps” the worker in the decision, giving them no time to resist it. Or it could just be a lack of awareness of how this effects people.
3.) Valuing loyalty over other qualities
This is an odd one that I really do not understand. I’m not sure if I’ve even identified it well. I’ve noticed that managers will often eat it up when their employees treat them in a subservient and respectful way. I know that that’s a universal thing, but it seems very exaggerated in Korea. These managers often ask random little things of their workers that don’t make much sense, or ask questions with no purpose except (I guess) to hear the employee say “Yes”.
4.) Gradually increasing the workload by starting out with small requests that grow into expected duties
I have recently noticed this one and it’s particularly insidious, especially for workers that genuinely do want to help out but get sucked into too many extra responsibilities.
Anyway, can anybody explain some of these things to me in a way that makes them make sense in my western mind? I think that I’m well liked by my management, but a reason for that is that I pretend that I don’t mind these aspects of the management style. Deep down they actually confuse me.
Also, what other things like this have you noticed?

2021.09.22 11:57 warpsup The secret of your high efficiency at managing your online stores?

Some people ask me, "What is the secret of your high efficiency at managing your online stores?"
“My goal is no longer to get more done, but rather to have less to do.”-Francine Jay, author
So what is my method to do so?

  1. I consciously collected tools that I came across.
  2. I built a website (Link is in the comment area) with Wordpress to put all those tools in.
  3. I use this website as a huge bookmark to increase my efficiency.
Btw, I shared it with my friend and asked them to give me advice about those tools and customize their own page. It also helped them with their efficiency, because it saved a lot of time and energy.
In a nutshell, first of all, you can seek some advice from people who have done something like this before or use their methods to be more efficient. At the same time, you need to know how to summarize your own methods and find a place to record what you have learned. You can use Notion or X-mind to keep a daily record, or do what I did— set up a website (including a blog site). Finally, you'll want to share this record with friends around you or share it on the web, even if they may be your potential competitors. But, keep doing it, because sharing brings you benefits that you may not be able to predict now.

I'm thinking about running with the CPC for my riding in the next Ontario election. I would like to know what level of involvement is required. 2021.09.22 11:57 SoundGuy96 GPU Replacement Heatsink/Shroud

Hi all,
Apologies if this is not the right place to post this question.
My friend has gifted me a graphics card with a water block already attached, however I do not have a water cooled system and am not interested in converting my existing system to be water cooled. He no longer has the original heatsink/shroud. Does anybody know of a place where I could find a replacement heatsink/shroud?
For reference it is an Asus ROG Strix RTX2080
Any help would be much appreciated.

2021.09.22 11:57 Cryptic_3vil Change

Is there anyway me as a Omani citizen can demand change? As far as I have heard, assembly and association is illegal in Oman.
I love this country, it is my dream to see it develop, to see it become great, currently, with what is happening it is if we are frozen in time. All countries around us are developing and changing and we are stuck with worst policies, mediocre infrastructure, and economic stagnation. Our population is tiny for god's sake, just 5 million people? Every country bordering us has a city with higher population then that.
And what's with the horrendous Omanisation policies? Literally all the best countries in the world give citizenship to skilled residents who are pro actively developing the country. We don't have to hand citizenship out to everyone but at the very least try to close the gap between resident and citzen. Almost every country which has gone down hardline nationals only has collapsed, its not like Omanis are the most skilled workforce in the world.
I am not promoting illegal activity here guys, I am sure the Sultan wants this country to be the best, but why isn't change happening? I refuse to be sidelined, this is my country and my people.
Keep things civil please
